Apply to JCCC
Three quick and easy things to do and there's no application fee. Even better, if you have applied in the last two years, you don't have to apply again.
A. Complete Your Application
When your application is processed, you'll get an email that includes your JCCC ID number and login information.
B. Complete Your Personal Admission Plan
These requirements must be completed before you can enroll in classes.
C. Register Your Email and Select a Personal Password
Your acceptance email contained a temporary password. To activate your student email (stumail), update your account with a personal password.Apply for Financial Aid
- Apply for FAFSA online at www.fafsa.gov.
- Use 008244 as the JCCC school code.
- Log in to your MyJCCC student account to view your financial aid status.

- Don’t forget to also apply for JCCC scholarships!
Complete New Student Orientation
- If this is your first time in college, you must complete NEW student orientation before you can enroll in classes. We recommend you complete the orientation no earlier than 1-2 months before enrollment opens for your semester.
- Starting in summer or fall? Do the orientation in March or April (prior to April enrollment).
- Starting in spring? Do the orientation in September or October (prior to October enrollment).

International Students: If you're a new or transfer JCCC I-20 student, you must contact the International and Immigrant Student Services office for F-1 orientation requirements and important deadlines.
Fulfill Placement Requirements
- Some courses require prerequisite coursework or placement prior to enrollment.
- If you need disability accommodations for placement testing, see Access Services.
- If you have completed prerequisites somewhere else, you must send your official transcript to us or review an unofficial transcript with a JCCC counselor. It may take up to four weeks for us to evaluate your official transcript.
Meet with a Counselor
- Make an appointment for assistance with academic advising, transfer information, personal and/or career counseling.
- You may call 913-469-3809 to make an appointment or visit the Counseling webpage.
Enroll
- Log in to your MyJCCC account.
- Enrollment dates and drop deadlines are available when you log in.
- If a course you want to enroll in is full, you can join a waitlist.
Pay Your Tuition
- Tuition must be paid by the deadline. See the academic calendar dates when you log in to MyJCCC.
- Log in to MyJCCC and select the Enroll and Pay card, then click on Pay for Classes.
Get Your JCCC ID Card
A JCCC ID card is required to access library materials, use the campus fitness center and take advantage of free tutoring and study support at the academic resource centers.Buy Your Books
Buy textbooks online or in person at the JCCC Bookstore, Student Center, 1st floor.By registering for classes at Johnson County Community College (JCCC), you agree to assume financial responsibility for all charges billed to your student account. In order to avoid financial responsibility, if you decide not to attend a class, you must officially drop that class within the stated refund periods.
