Educational Technology Center

The Ed Tech Center provides faculty support for instructional technologies, a film and recording studio for instructors, and a MakerLab for student academic projects.

Educational Technology Center

The Educational Technology Center (ETC), located on the 3rd Floor of the Billington Library, offers instructional technology support services for JCCC faculty and staff. This includes software support and training for the Canvas learning environment, video management system, and classroom technology.

Our primary mission is to assist JCCC faculty in developing and incorporating instructional technologies into the curriculum.

Ed Tech Studio

The Ed Tech (ETC) Studio (LIB 373) is a dedicated space on campus to meet all your recording needs.  If you would like to record a lecture or demonstration, we’ve got you covered. Visit the site linked below for more details.

MakerLab

Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to use the MakerLab (LIB 371) for instructional-related projects and fabrication. We have 3D printers, a laser cutter, desktop CNC and an electronics and soldering station available by reservation. Visit the site below for more information and to reserve time.
