- JCCC to Host Job Fair for Commercial Truck Drivers

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The trucking industry is a rapidly growing and profitable profession. Companies are constantly seeking out skilled employees to complete their fleet.
Visit with recruiters from companies who are actively looking for qualified drivers at the Johnson County Community College CDL Job Fair happening Wednesday, Feb 19 from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. in Regnier Center 101. The event is free and open to the public, RSVP today!
There is an ever-growing need for qualified truck drivers. According to a report by the American Trucking Association, the industry will be facing a shortage of nearly 100,000 drivers by 2023. As of 2019, the average median pay for a truck driver was around $59,000.
Whether you’re in the process of obtaining your commercial driver’s license (CDL-A) or considering a career in the transportation industry, this event is the perfect opportunity to network with several companies including:
