Registration, Orientation and Testing

Registration

Registration is first come, first served. Once classes are full, registration closes. Register by phone or in person where you’d like to attend classes:

You may not change your location after a session has started.

Upcoming registration dates and times

In-person Registration: at Olathe, Roeland Park, or West Park

  • Aug. 4 (M): 9 a.m.-noon and 5-7 p.m.
  • Sep. 29 (M): 9 a.m.-noon and 5-7 p.m.

  • Aug. 4-7 (M,T,W,R): 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Sep. 29-Oct. 2 (M,T,W,R): 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Items needed at registration

  • If you are 16 or 17, you must provide a High School Attendance Disclaimer form.
  • A $60 non-refundable registration/materials fee is required and can be paid by credit/debit card (preferred). NO CASH ACCEPTED.
What’s required for Adult Basic Education/GED® registration?
  • A smartphone for text app communication with instructor
  • A reliable internet connection
  • Childcare and/or work schedule flexibility to allow time to attend classes
  • Reliable transportation to and from in-person classes
  • Agreement to follow JCCC student policies

Distance Education Orientation and Testing

Must attend one in-person session. Registration is required; call 913-469-7621.

  • Sep. 20 (Sa): 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Oct. 25 (Sa): 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
