There are two ways to begin the ELTE Certificate Program
With this schedule, you will attend courses four days a week for the Fall and Spring semesters. This is the fastest way to complete this credential and get you on the path to becoming an electrician. This schedule ONLY begins in August and you will graduate by the following May.
There are three timeslots to choose from. Each program timeslot meets Monday through Thursday:
- 8:30-2 p.m. ELTE Cohort 1
- 9:30-3 p.m. ELTE Cohort 2
- 8 a.m.-2 p.m. ELTE Cohort 3

With this schedule, you will attend courses two evenings a week for 6-7 consecutive semesters, Summer included. This path is designed for those that are currently working in the electrical industry or those that are wanting to make a career change and cannot attend during the day full-time.
Note: Once you start the part-time evening program, you cannot move to the full-time day program as they are on completely different learning schedules. However, you can move from day to evening, if needed.
You can begin this schedule in either Fall (August) or Spring (January) semester by enrolling in the evening section of ELTE 110 ACDC CIRCUITS.

Full time day schedules ONLY begin in August and you will graduate by the following May.
Part time evening schedules begin in either Fall (August) or Spring (January) semester with the evening section of ELTE 110 ACDC CIRCUITS.
To ENROLL in ELTE classes within a schedule, LOG IN to MyJCCC for the term desired. For the Part-Time Evening Schedule, SEARCH for ELTE 110 ACDC CIRCUITS (evening section). For the Full-Time Day Schedule (Fall only), SEARCH for the cohort name in the “Attribute” dropdown box (Electrical Technology Cohort 1, 2 or 3). ADD all classes to your schedule, and SUBMIT.

To prepare for Fall enrollment in a full time, day time electrical technology cohort we HIGHLY recommend you meet with a JCCC counselor before March 30.
