Eligibility
To be eligible for GAP, students must:
- Apply for admission to this program
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5*
- Have completed one semester (12 credit hours) of college credit*
*Students with fewer than 12 credit hours or a cumulative GPA lower than 2.5 can apply and may be provisionally accepted into the program. The student’s cumulative GPA must be raised to 2.5 prior to graduation from GAP.
Eligible academic courses (completed with a grade of C or higher) and international experiences completed prior to GAP acceptance will be applied toward program requirements. However, you will not get credit for participating in activities prior to being accepted.
Advising
The International Education Office, located in COM 220, coordinates the Global Awareness Program. You can get advice on all aspects of the program by emailing a program advisor.

Orientation
If you are joining the program for the first time, you will be required to complete a hybrid orientation module of 8 weeks during your semester of the program along with the rest of your cohort. This hybrid orientation will consist of in-person meetings and activities on Canvas. More information will be given to you after acceptance into the program.
